okay, i picked up this album a few days ago. i have to say after all the
hype about how ill these kids are, i was pretty disappointed. i think since
there *was* so much hype, i have forced myself to listen to it over and over
again to try and understand WHY, and it is definitely growing on me (sound
familiar??).
anyway, i do have to say- in response to the comment above- what is the
point of being a clone???????? isn't the point of music to channel something
original? i don't want to get into a huge flame about people's motivations
behind making music, the creative process, and what IS original and whatever
else, but i think it's pretty pathetic for any of us to listen to imitations
of people we admire and legitimize it because they did a "good" job.
